Berkshire Scout Enterprises Ltd. (BSEL) was formed in 1985 by Scout Leaders to answer rising unemployment in Berkshire. It was created with 2 key goals in mind: reducing unemployment and promoting scouting in Berkshire. The not for profit company has been working hard to achieve these for over 3 decades.

BSEL has strived to move with the changing needs of it’s clients, from offering support workers to people with special needs to carry out their day to day jobs in the work place, running ‘Forest School’ activity days for local Schools, running Bushcraft courses to both adults and young people, Showcasing International and National Scouting and providing ‘Activities in a Box’ resources.

“Since that beginning, the nature and extent of our help and support has changed as circumstances and government policies dictated but I think it fair to say that we can be proud of the service we have provided.”
Alan K. B. Beavis OBE (Retired Founder of BSEL)
